Dr. James Alexander Meglino

Doctor of Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic, 1981

 

Adirondack Chiropractic Center has been serving the community for 35 years.  It was established by Dr. James Meglino in 1983. He and his wife raised three wonderful children in the beautiful community of Glens Falls.

 

Dr. James Meglino graduated from St. John's University in 1975 with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology.  During his last two years at St. John's he participated in microbiology research with a Nobel Laureate.  Dr. James Meglino graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1981 where he earned a second bachelor of science degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In 1992, he received a postgraduate certificate as a chiropractic sports practitioner.

 

Dr. James Meglino has been active in his community for the last 35 years. He started helping his community by creating a learning experience that would help children learn science at the Children's Museum. He also volunteered with the Glens Falls Lions Club for several years, whose main goal was working with the Association for the Blind. Later, he joined the Glens Falls-Queensbury Masonic Lodge and served as Worshipful Master for two years where he helped create fundraisers that supported the Shriners Hospitals and Drug Free Zones. Dr. James Meglino has been active with the Boy Scouts for many years, and was very proud to be awarded the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award in 2008.  He was on the board of the Glens Falls Urban Renewal Agency for several  years and he worked closely with  Mayor Roy Akins to help improve his community and create better living conditions for those who live in Glens Falls.  Dr. James Meglino enjoys helping his community by giving quality care at a reasonable price and abiding by the Golden Rule.
